Re-Do KAL

My name is Debbie Schulz and I'm the LKGM vice-president. I especially enjoy heritage fibers, Fair Isle Knitting, and sharing my love for all things knitted.

Do you have a hand knitted object that you love the yarn but never wear the garment?  Face it, it’s time to fix it.  The Guild’s winter KAL will focus on fixing or reknitting projects.  The cost will be minimal for you as you already have the yarn.  In some cases it could be a quick fix such as fixing sleeve length and in some cases it could be a complete frog, unravel, re-skein  and re-knit.

The KAL will run from Jan 1 to the March 2023 meeting

All members and friends are welcome to join!

Bring your projects for the
Re-do KAL to the January meeting for sharing and also get some help if you need it. I already have two projects in mind for the KAL.  I have a lovely sweater with a shawl collar that curls up and doesn’t lay flat.  That collar needs a reknit.

I also have a pullover sweater made of beautiful wool from

a small producer in New Hampshire.  I never wear it because the fit is not right.

I think the wool needs to become a new cardigan.

There will be a Ravelry thread in the Guild forum so you can follow projects in progress.  Guild officers can help you post in Ravelry.  It is not necessary to participate in Ravelry.  There will be prizes!!

The prizes will be picked randomly so everyone has an equal chance to win.
Moderators and Guild officers are not eligible for prizes.

Please, join me at our first Guild meeting of the new year!!
